We keep a small herd of 20 cows.  We have some Hereford, Simmental, Angus, and Shorthorn cows which we breed to a registered Angus bull.  Our cows are selected for their quiet temperaments, excellent mothering skills and meat quality.  Our cows always have access to grass in the summer and free choice hay in the winter.  They can choose to be inside the barn or outside at all times.  

Our cows calve in August, which allows the calves to be born in the sunny dry summer weather.  The calves stay with their cows until around nine months of age and then they are weaned.  Once weaned, the calves can still see their mothers across the manger in the barn.  

The feeder cattle are raised with free choice hay.  They are not given any implants or hormones. They are sent for processing at about 18 months of age.  This results in a hanging weight of 550-750lbs.  We sell our beef in quarters, halves and whole animals which is custom cut and wrapped to your specifications. 

We sell out quickly, so please book your orders early. We require a non refundable deposit of $300-$1000 all beef orders of quarters, half or wholes respectively. All orders must be picked up within one week of notification that the beef is ready. Pick ups are normally on weekends or weeknights.
